AUBURN, Ala.- A road closure is expected on May 7-8 on West Glenn Avenue from Hemlock Drive to North Donahue Drive as water and sewer is installed for The Rise development. The section of road will also be closed May 11-13 for asphalt work and road striping. Work is expected from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Local residences will have access to the area throughout the work.

Through traffic should utilize either Martin Luther King Drive or West Magnolia Avenue as an alternate route. Traffic control measures and flagmen will be in place to direct motorists around the closure. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes to reduce delays.
